Hôtel Le Laurier Blanc - Nice

We booked this hotel for 7/29 based on Hotels.com's 3 star rating, however, we were very disappointed. We'd booked a room with a bath, however, our room only had a shower. The hotel is very small, the drain does not work well so when you use it, it ends up clogging up and flooding. The carpet is dirty and the staff is not hospitable.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, including time spent in rural Venezuela. Except the TV, everything in the room was broken. Refrigerator: broken. Safe: broken. Bathroom: cracked tile, filthy, mildew everywhere. Lamps: two of three were broken. Ceiling: water visibly leaking through. Bed: frame cracked, trash under the bed. Mirror: sitting on the floor, not mounted on the wall. Stay anywhere but here.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Nice, There are many bars & restaurants in the area.The staff in the hotel where all very helpful, spoke very good english and proffesional.

the room needs to be cleaner, esp around the floor/baseboards. The location was fantastic as it is so close to the train station and we needed to dash back and get our luggage to catch a train.

Room was comfortable and quiet. Hotel is down a dead-end street about a block away from the main street, so there was no street noise. Mattress was comfortable. Bathroom was narrow (as in hit your knees against the wall went trying to use the toilet) but ceilings were fairly high and showerhead was at a reasonable height. The "tea and coffee service" included 2 cups and a hot pot but no actual tea or coffee - I asked about it at the front desk in the morning but the person said he was just the night guy and didn't know of any tea/coffee being provided. Despite the hotels.com price stating that all taxes and fees were included, there was an additional tax charged at the hotel. I called hotels.com to complain but was told that some hotels do indeed charge additional taxes.

They accepted our reservation even though they were full. Sent us to Hotel Durante next door (same company). The room was disgusting. There was garbage on the floor and under the bed. There were stains on the bedsheets and food crumbs on the bed. I wore sandals in the shower as it was dirty. They rationned the toilet paper and never restocked so we had to use kleenex. Not worth the money!

wel een goed hotel, maar alles heel klein. vooral badkamer, de spiegel en wastafel, wc, alles was te laag. dus niets voor mensen met een lengte boven de 1.80 m

L'albergo e molto carino, camera abbastanza spazioza e comoda c'e tutto che serve,pulizia buona e sempra a mattina veloce, comodo, che c'e un frigo.

Lyse store rom, litt slitne bad, veldig hyggelig betejning. Flatskjerm, kjøleskap, effektiv aircon. 2 minutter å gå fra togstasjonen, og 10 minutter fra stranden. Minus å måtte sjekke ut allerede kl 11.
