Quinta Pedra Dos Bicos - Albufeira

Have just returned from a weeks stay here, the location was perfect a couple of minutes to the beach and the strip, it couldn't have been better. As there was only 2 of us we were given an apartment with no balcony which wasn't suitable particularly if you were at the beach therefore the apartment was full of sand, having spoken to other couples they had the same experience, staff weren't friendly when we tried to change but once we got over this we had a wonderful time, would go back again but request a balcony if you want it!!!

This is a wonderful hotel, there are really no complaints. The hotel has two pools one of which is heated. It also has very close access to a beach but you do have to go down alot of steep steps so not good for elderly. However you can get a taxi for less than 5 euros to the old town where you can just walk accross to the beach. Old town in where most of the shops, bars and restuarants are but there are local bars, supermarkets etc accross the road to the hotel and apartments also. The 'strip' is also only a ten min walk away. The apartment itself was very nice, large clean and spacious. We had a two bedroomed apartment which had a separate kitchen and lounge area that also doubles up as another posible bedroom. (which is very comfortable). This complex was only built last year so it is all brand new (there is no building work anywhere near it though!) I would definitely recommend this hotel. All the staff are wondeful. All in all a fantastic hotel in a good location.

Nice accomodation; Very helpful and courteous staff. Faced problems with heating but they moved us to a new apartment when it could not be solved. Otherwise it was a hassle free stay. Strongly recommend to those travelling alone/family. Minutes from a beach

We were impressed with this hotel! For some reason we got a bigger apartment (1 bed) than what we booked (studio), which was fab, but even studios were big enough for 2. Apartment was very clean but towels get changed only twice a week, so take your own if you're fussy. There is a hair dryer in the room - I thought I better mention this as the hotel description doesn't include it. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location - far enough not to be surrounded by tourists, loud noise and everything that goes with it but close enough to be within walking distance of very good restaurants and bars - we were impressed by Portugese food! It's a family friendly hotel, there were lots of small kids about (beginning of July). We were there on a girly weekend break but kids didn't bother us. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break. It was my first time in Portugal and I would definitely go back!

1 bedroom apartment was spacious and well equiped. We had a ground floor with a garden which added a little colour to the bland interior. Walls incredibly thin which was uncomfortable. Swimming pool in seperate block so we never used it, but the beaches were lovely and nearby.

We travelled as a party of 10, ages 21 to 76, the location of the hotel was excellent. About 200m from the bottom end of "the strip" and quite a few places nearby to eat and drink. The accomodation itself although fairly basic was clean and tidy with regular maid service for towel change etc. The security on the accomodation blocks themelves was excellent with outer door locks with cctv entry cameras in the rooms and the lighting around the accom blocks was very good giving a good feeling of security. Pool area was clean and tidy. We would definately return here.

We stayed here for a long weekend and would definately stay again. The hotel was central for everything and yet quiet and relaxing. It is very close to good restaurants and bars with the beach a short walk away. The room was very clean and the reception staff were friendly.

We hebben de eerste nacht in een appartement gezeten, dit was echt waardeloos, slechte bedden en alles was verouderd. De rest van onze vakantie hebben we een hotelkamer gehad, deze was subliem, mooi balkon met prachtig uitzicht, fijn bed en luxe douche.

Flott hotell, fin beliggenhet. Ble oppgradert fra studioleilighet til hotellrom, men alt så nytt og fint ut. Trengte man hjelp til noe fikk man det umiddelbart. Litt rotete i frokostsalen, med manglende kopper og kar.

Leuke hotel Ik kan kort zij, een prima Hotel!! Uitstekende ligging naast dicht bij het strand en alle uitgangsaangelegenheden. Hotel is geschikt voor zowel gezinnen als jonge volwassenen die willen uitgaan.
