Best Western Alba Hotel - Nice

We stayed in the Alba Hotel for a total of 6 nights. We found the hotel to be ideally located - we were within walking distance of the beach/promenade (though we did pop on the tram that ran outside the door if we were feeling lazy!), the railway station was also a 5 min. walk away. The hotel is located on a large pedestrianized shopping street. We found the staff at the reception desk very polite and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable (not a big room but plenty of space for two). The room we stayed in was lovely and quiet. We got a great night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent. No complaints about this hotel!

We were staying in the hotel for the Formula 1 race in Monaco. Location was perfect. 3 Minuttes to the central station, nice little walk to the beach. Rooms were tall and decent, but nothing fantastic. Was in ok shape, but felt well used.

very nice people in the reception! nice hotel, but dinning roon is small and a bit expensive for breakfast for €13. Room is clean but a bit small maybe because we got discount for the room? liked the bathroom! 90cent for per night stayed per person is a bit not understandable.

Basic but clean and everything we needed was there.

Great location just a few minutes walk to seafront, train station and shops.

A small and friendly hotel. It is on one of the main shopping streets in Nice and you wouldnt even notice it was there as its just a door from the road. Even though its on a busy road the hotel was quiet. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the gare de nice, where you can catch a 10 min train ride to monaco/monte carlo which i highly recommend and it is centrally located for the attractions of nice with only a 15 minute walk to the old town...lovely! The hotel rooms are small and quite basic but its clean and has the usual things you would expect and the extras, tv/min bar/kettle/hairdryer, which like all hotel hairdryers, blows a gentle breeze through your hair! We had a room at the back of the hotel which had a balcony, overlooked by lots of other peoples balcony's so we kept our curtains closed for the entire trip. Dont let that put you off as this is the norm for city life(or so I have been told) and to be honest we just used the hotel as a base to get about so it's ideal for that and it was cheap!

The room was substandard...walking in it looked cheap and in need of renovation. Nice itself is in need of some cleaning, the graffiti is overwhelming, better by light of day, but arriving at night was a little unnerving. The laundry service also lost a shirt.

Major renovation to road in front of hotel made entering the hotel very difficult.

I was staying in the hotel from April 21th to 27th for business travel. check-in was smooth. As soon as I got into my room, however, I found many hairs on the bed and bathroom. Hotel staffs were very friendly and nice, but they did not tell me that they would charge on breakfast. I needed to pay additional 60 euros for 5 days breakfast. Overall, I can recommend this hotel, though. This is because thier reasonable rate for business travelers. However, hotel needs some improvements.

Vi hadde en meget positiv opplevelse av dette hotellet. Hyggelig personale og god service i resepsjonen. Rene rom og fint og romslig bad. Det eneste vi hadde å utsette på hotellet var at rommet var litt lite og heisen var i minste laget hvis du har med barnevogn.

Trés bon acceuil, chambre trés agréable, pas de bruit, proche de la gare, mais sans les nuisances et le Tramways à coté. 10 minute à pied du vieux Nice.

Bien situé en ville, très calme malgré sa localisation sur l'avenue Jean Médecin, personnel très aimable, petit déjeuner bon et abondant.

Ideale Lage.Superior Zimmer im 3.Stockwerk waren sehr leise,sauber und modern eingerichtet.Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.Empfehlenswert.

Utrolig bra betjening. Nytt/Nyoppusset hotell. Perfekt beliggenhet hvis man ikke på død å liv må bo ved promenaden. Negativt; steinharde senger.

Centrally located. Helpful staff. Breakfast OK. Room not particularly large but fine for person travelling alone.

J'espèrais plus de confort, et de classe pour cet hotel. - La chambre n'était pas disponible dans l'aprés midi, elle aurait du l'etre à 12h. - Nos bagages ont été abandonnées, prés de l'escalier, à l'accés de tout le monde, nous les avons trouvés par hasard à notre 2scd arrivée le soir, alors qu'ils devaient etre mis dans la chambre une fois prete. - le petit déjeuné nous a été refusé vers 10h35, alors qu'il est prévu un service jusqu'à 11h. Cela dit le buffet du petit dejeuné n'était pas trés soigné, et pas tres copieux. - Nous sommes restés bloqués a l'exterieur de la chambre, il n'y avait personne a l'accueil, la porte d'entrée de l'hotel était fermé nous ne pouvions plus quitter l'hotel, pendant 20 min vers 11h le matin... - autant de détails qui ne justifient pas le prix de la chambre... l'ascenceur... PAS DE COMMENTAIRE ;-/

Das Hotel ist relativ zentral gelegen (ca. 10 min zu Fuß in die Altstadt). Der Allgemeinzustand meines Zimmers lies etwas zu wünschen übrig: die Wassertemperatur ging nicht über lau-warm hinaus, die Armaturen fielen beinahe aus der Wand und der Safe funktionierte auch nicht. Parkmöglichkeiten sind nur in dem 500 Meter entfernten Einkaufzentrum vorhanden.
