I picked this hotel for its close proximity to the major roads in and out of the city and more importantly the shops!! Check in was speedy and efficient and the staff were very pleasant. The room itself was well equipped and the beds clean and comfortable. We stayed for three nights and the room and en-suite bathroom was cleaned daily. I certainly would have no hesitation in booking this accomodation again as I found it excellent value for money.

When we arrived I was horrified to discover our "secure parking" was in fact an open public car park right in the middle of a very rough part of belfast. The reception staff were not very friendly at all. There was a constant smell of sewage in the reception and hall area. I understand that this hotel is a budget hotel but surely they should have some sort of standards. I would not advise staying here, it would be definitely worth spending a few more quid and staying in the Fitzwilliam Hotel, which is just up the road.

The hotel is located down town. The hotel is need of renovation and the halls need a fresh coat of paint. The good thing was that the parking was free. No high speed internet service availabel in room unless you want to pay. free internet in the lobby area, but it does not allow you to log in if you have an IMac and the hotel staff were not educated enough to provide support as how to get on the internet with the IMac.

The hotel Days we found staff very friendly, and rooms very clean and comfortable, however we found the rection and waiting area very cramped .and the bar even mre so, ase would have like to have spent more time around the hotel. we also think your overall traiff should include the breafast, and save a lot of trouble either having to pay or have it caharged. However we would repeat our visit to the Days Hotel Belfast

I've been to Belfast a number of times and have stayed in qute a few other hotels, but I must admit the Days Hotel had one of the best rooms to date. The bed was very comfortable & the staff was even more accomidating when I told them I had a back problem, they brought up extra pillows and blankets to help me. It was GREAT. The room was very clean and housekeeping very friendly. A couple things that would have made it better is if the bar area was abit bigger, there were usually ALOT of people in there & it made the lobby difficult to get through. Then there was the neighborhood where the hotel is located. Every night there were loads of teenagers had bonfires in the area by the parkinglot. When they would drink they would just toss their bottles in the roads & around cars. I didn't feel very safe with them around. So as far as the hotel.. it's GREAT.. the location... NOT SO GREAT. I just didnt feel safe there.

I loved Belfast and if we went back I would definitely stay at the Days Hotel. I found everyone in Northern Ireland helpful and friendly. Would recommend it to anyone!

Room was good size and well equipped. Sadly the surfaces (desk etc) seemed somewhat "tacky" / "gritty" to me. Tea, coffee, biscuits very welcome, bed comfy. Was frustrated that I couldn't successfully use free wifi in the public area, but others didn't seem to have a problem (maybe limited to Dell laptops? draft-N wifi cards? who knows. Breakfast was very nice & welcome! Recommended bar the minor frustration.

This hotel is located right by the train station (Great Victoria) and bus centre, which makes traveling in and out of Belfast extremely convenient. The room is clean and comfortable. The only drawback is that their staff would knock on your door early in the morning (8am-ish) asking if your room needs to be cleaned. I find that a bit annoying. Other than that, I don't really have any complaint.

One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was that they had a car rental desk and we were looking for car hire pickup in Belfast City Centre and returning to City Airport as we didn't want a car for the first 2 days of our trip. Once booked however I was informed by the Car Hire Company that there would be a one way fee of £45 - the 2 day car hire was only going to cost £35 so we abandoned this plan for the car, choosing to do the return trip on the excellent 600 Airport service to pick the car up ourselves instead. The hotel was however still booked. As we arrived in Belfast at 7am we went straight from the airport to the hotel where we left our cases in the luggage room returning in the afternoon to check in. The room was I thought quite large with king size bed which was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in, in a hotel. There was a desk area, TV, Tea/Coffee making facilities. The bathroom was also very large - shower was double width. It was nicely decorated and very clean. Reception staff were courteous and very helpful with luggage. We chose not to have breakfast (at £8.95 we thought it was a bit expensive). After all Belfast is full of places to get an excellent Ulster Fry! I had been a bit sceptical about the location of this hotel having read other comments regarding the area, but given its proximity to the Bus/Train Station, and the many eating places within a short walk I was please we stayed here.

I stayed at this hotel for two days whilst visiting Belfast with a friend. We arrived early (11am) and were able to check into our twin room immediately which was very useful. The room was a very good size and had views over the city (admittedly not the prettiest view ever, but it was nice to see the hills in the distance). Some of the fittings were a little dated, such as the hairdryer and kettle, but everything was clean and worked fine. The large power shower was fantastic, although I was a little disappointed by the towels which were hard and crunchy, not soft and fluffy as you would expect from a hotel! The beds were very comfortable and my friend and I slept very well. Breakfast was not included but we did pay to eat there on Sunday as most of Belfast doesn't open until after 1pm on Sundays. We had a cooked breakfast which was tasty but pricy (£8.95 each). Overall, the decor of the hotel was a little scruffy, but it is being repainted at the moment so may improve. My biggest complaint was the smell of cigarettes in the corridors - I suspect emanating from the staff who stank of smoke whenever I met them - but this didn't permeate into our rooms so I didn't mind too much. If you are looking for a comfortabkle place to rest your head when sightseeing, I would recommend this hotel - it is very convenientlky located - but if you are looking for something more upmarket/special/romantic it probably isn't the place for you.

Although our booking was exclusive of breakfast (no other option was given) when we arrived we were never asked if we would be interested in having breakfast there. Consequently, when we went down in the morning we were told we couldn't have breakfast as they didn't have our credit card details. When I queried this (the booking was MADE by credit card) they said they'd look into it and just left me standing there for a good 10 mins even though I am on crutches! When they came back they said sorry but as they didn't have our details, we couldn't have any breakfast. So: no breakfast for us.

Very good for anyone visiting the city. From previous reviews I was expecting it to be in a run down area and yes there is building work going on quite nearby (but that's true of the whole of Belfast!) We felt quite comfortable walking from the city to the hotel at midnight. Friendly staff, pleasant rooms. No obvious negatives come to mind.

Everything I wanted and that's it...nothing special or noteworthy to speak of. Staff was cordial and professional however the front desk did seem understaffed at times. Just back from a fab weekend in Belfast, Days Hotel is very central, less than 10 mins walk to shops, Crown & Robinsons pubs 2 mins walk away, both very lively. Excellent shopping in Belfast, the new shopping centre Victoria Square is really trendy and has fab shops and very good value to the euro! Regarding the hotel, we had a nice quiet room, every facility one would expect, clean, well maintained, bed comfy, bar service good, didnt have any food so cant comment on that. Reception staff were very efficient and polite. When going to Belfast again, I would definetely stay in Days Hotel.

The Days hotel was well thought through with energy efficient solutions throughout, which I appreciate from a "save the planet" point of view. The rooms were clean and to a good standard and the housekeeping staff we came across were all friendly and quick to smile. Reception was efficient and friendly and no complaints there. Unfortunately the restaurant lets the place down. Breakfast was a dissapointment and it was not worth paying for, I would advise customers to find a cafe and get a better breakfast a lot cheaper. We had dinner in the restaurant and I would not do that again. The menu was a bit boring and when the food arrived it was as boring as the menu promised. We found one member of staff rude and unhelpful, when we complained to the manager we didn't feel like we got a very helpful response and for the second time in my life I did not tip a penny. It's a good bed for the night but make sure you make alternative plans for food and entertainment.

I booked this hotel the day before my trip and a few of the reviews had concerned me. When I arrived I found pleasant and fast service, a clean and comfortable room in an excellent location, and somehow managed to receive complimentary breakfast vouchers. The breakfast was excellent both days (Irish sausages are so good) and I was able to store my luggage on the day of checkout until I needed to leave for the airport. There are smoking rooms in the hotel, however the ventilation in the rooms and hallways was very good, so you didn't get the stale cigarette smell that some reviews had mentioned. I thought this hotel was great value and would definitely stay there again.
