I stayed for 6 nights in the hotel. Initially, I was assigned with a non-smoking room on 4th floor, however, full of smell of cigar smoke. The front desk staffs were very helpful, they immediate search another room when I reported the situation. I was finally assigned a 'real' non-smoking comfort double room on 3rd floor. The room is spacious and tidy. However, the bathroom is rather small and the shower is weak. Improvment is expected. The buffet breakfast is very good. The waiters and the kitchen staff are nice and friendly. One male staff (seems to be of most senior in age) in particular, always wear a smiling face. Excellent location

I found the hotel room very small. they did not supply soap in a bar or shampoo/conditioner. the soap was in a squeeze bottle on the wall that i could not get to work properly. however, the location is immediately outside the main train station and within walking distance to the main squares. the hotel supplies a train/bus ticket for those who not wish to walk, making all locations affordable and convenient. they also provided breakfast in the morning. the breakfasts were amazing! they included a chef to make you an omelet, fresh meats and fish, fruit, cereals, breads, juices, etc. this is the perfect hotel for tourists.

Literally attached to Munich's main train station. Fantastic location. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel provided us with a free pass for the subway, trams and buses. Easy to get to the major sites. The free breakfast was fantastic. Around the corner were the Grey Lines tours which were competitively prices and conveniently located. You could walk to the Marienplatz and other major attractions. Others were convenient by subway or tram.

The staff was incredable. They were very halpful and all spoke perfect English. The location could not have been more convenient. The breakfast was wonderful and the hotel even gave us passes for the tram which made getting around Munich very easy and affordable.

For the price this is a pretty good hotel and if you are arriving and leaving by train the location could not be better. My main complaint was that the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, but we were able to open the window, which helped. Also, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken and fell of the wall every time we touched it. The room was very small so that I had to brush against the TV to get around the foot of the bed. My spouse called it "cleaning the TV screen." Despite these complaints, I would recommend this place as it is in a great location, the staff was very nice, the breakfast (included with the room) was excellent, the Internet worked well, the in room safe was big enough for a 17 inch laptop, and for the price it was an great deal.

The room was great for tourism as we weren't there much; it would have been kind of small if we had to stay inside or do work or something. The bed was big enough for two, the a/c worked, and it was quiet. There are some graphic channels that should be blocked if you have kids (they're pay tv after some free preview time, but channel surfing will reveal more than you want to see). The location is right next to the train station so getting there and away is simple; all public transport (tram, u-bahn, s-bahn, buses) in zone 1 was included in the price of the room, which was great. The breakfast is great.

The only thing 4 star about this hotel is the location - at the main train terminal and that breakfast was included. My room was not the lowest level room in the single room category, but was the next level up and the room was smaller than interior corridor rooms on the lowest level of cruise ship. The towel (notice, I said towel not towels) was very thin and again, not anything like you would expect from a four star hotel. The hotel had no amenities (other than there being a restaurant on the main floor that provided breakfast) - there was not even individual bottles of shampoo, lotion or body wash provided. The shampoo/body wash was a combo liquid provided in a squeeze bottle attached to the wall of the shower (very small shower too). While the staff did speak English, there was no materials in the room for English speaker, other than a little welcome pamphlet). I was asked about the room when I checked out and I told them I was not happy with the room, and they asked if I filled out the critique card - I told them no, as it was not in English. There was no offer to provide an English comment card but that they would give the info to their manager. So I guess I was expecting way too much for this hotel to be advertised as a four star hotel on the Hotels.com website. But most especially, for the price, it was way too much when there are other hotels very close by that are truly more of a 4 star hotel or better.

This hotel is literally right outside the main train station in Munich. Great location. Included breakfast was nice and free internet was also great. The room itself is quite spartan with the size being smallish, but having everything a traveler would expect. The staff was very helpful and considerate and the room was always clean and well taken care of. The double bed was typical for European rooms and the bathroom was spacious for the size of the room. I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. Couldn't be any more convenient for transport, although late nights at any train station requires care.

Very nice hotel. Conveniently located. Unbelievable breakfast buffet.

The hotel was very convenient (right at the train station). Very clean hotel with helpful staff. The only bad thing was that the pillow was terrible in my room, and they ran out of extras, so I couldn't get another. Everything else was excellent!

We arrived very early in the morning with a dozen bags that had to be stored for the day until our rooms were ready. The staff graciously took it to our rooms (even though they don't have porter service)!! They couldn't have been more accommodating!

The location worked out very well as I had business downtown. Marienplatz is within 15 minutes walk. It's located right besides Hauptbanhof. Internet services and a breakfast buffet is included. Rooms are sparsely furnished for a 4 star hotel (no soap/shampoo included, my room with a twin bed was really small).

This hotel is very conveniently located next to the train station and a short walk to Old Town Munich. The rooms are clean and not unattractive, but somewhat spartan in terms of amenities. They only come with one small, thin body towel and a hand towel, liquid dispenser soap (dispenser kept falling off the wall) and one pillow. When asked, they brought another towel and pillow without hesitation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Get instructions for parking from them before you arrive. You need to turn into the parking entrance just before the hotel and immediately pull in front of blue elevator doors to your right. The garage requires an elevator lift. Have your ticket validated by the hotel for a discount and ask them how to pay for your parking before you go back to your car.

Several things make this a great hotel. The price is right, rooms are clean, the staff are accomodating, and the Breakfast bar is to die for ...truly the most lavish I have seen. Hotel is lcoated 50 paces from the central train station. Very convenient to Metro and Trams. I recieved a free all day metro pass as a bonus when I stayed there last.

Perfect location if you don't want to rent a car - right next to central train station, Grayline Tour starting point; walking distance to city center, shopping, and restaurants. Before going there, our research said the rooms were small - we were on the top floor and felt the room was very large by European standards; large enough to have a couch and table in addition to bed, dressers, tv,... then again, maybe all the rooms aren't the same size.

Great location near train station and public transportation. We got a free pass for public transportation for 4 days. It made it very easy to get around Munich. They also had great breakfast with a lot of choices.

Great location in city, next to train station and within walking distance to many city sites. Very clean, friendly staff, small but comfortable room.

The best thing about this hotel was the location. It was connected to the main train station which can get you anywhere in the city, airport, or surrounding areas. It is also in the downtown area where walking is possible to many of the city attractions. It also a 10 minute walk to the Oktofest festival which is the reason we were there. The hotel is nice, slightly above average. The lobby would be four star but the rooms were three star. Excellent parking for those who have a car. Would stay there again.

Bathroom sink did not drain properly. Bathtub did not drain properly. Bathroom shower curtain was extremely moldy. Towels were dirty. Hair throughout bathroom and on towels. Even after reports of all of the above, no actions taken within a 2-night stay. Breakfast was more than adequate and serving area was clean. Morning/Afternoon front desk receptionists were not courteous. Evening crew was much more courteous. I would definitely try another hotel for the money.

The hotel is your basic city center bargain hotel. The rooms are clean, but spartan. Bathrooms are very small and often take gymnastic athleticism to negotiate. Advertised wireless internet service, but this was only available in a limited area. Once on-line, the service was sporadic and very, very slow.

Were pleaesed with the proximity of hotel to the train station as well as the public subway use.

The hotel was easily accessable to the sites of Munich. the staff was friendly.

Perfekt läge vid tågstationen, som man inte hörde något ifrån alls. Rummet var inte så stort men där fanns allt som behövdes och frukosten var kanon!

I cannot, even now, when I am in a good mood, recommend this terrible hotel. The hotel itself feels rather dated and more like a motel somewhere along the Autobahn than a real hotel situated in the heart of one of Europe's fanciest cities. The rooms are clean, but very basic, my tv did not work and the so called air conditioning made a lot of noice, but didn't really make the room cooler. I could have lived with thais (since I got a good price for the room on the net) if the staff hadn't been so rude; if you're travelling alone, you can forget getting any breakfast, the personnel will just steal your food and put someone else on your seat if you get up to get some juice (happened EVERY morning to me), They did not apologise for it, on the contrary, they told me it was my own fault, I wasn't allowed to leave my table, they said. The concierge didn't care when I spoke to him about, he even yawned in my face and spent all his time catering to the (German) retirees next to me, apparently the kind of customers the hotel prefers, l...!!!) Avoid this hotel at any cost if you want a holiday worth remembering!!

Var i München for å delta på en messe, og i den forbindelse hadde hotellet en veldig bra beliggenhet rett ved siden av sentralstasjonen (Hauptbahnhof). Det var enkelt å komme frem til messelokalet på t-banen (U2 linje). Hotellet virker litt gamelt, men rommet var rent og badet nyoppusset. Hyggelig og behjelpelig service og god frokost, og gratis internettilgang som er viktig for forretningsreisende.

Das Personal war freundlich, man hatte das Gefühl, dass man sich sehr bemühte. Die gastronomischen Räume sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist überdurchschnittlich gut. Was störte und warum ich das Hotel nicht gerade empfehle ist das zu kleine Zimmer und der schlechte Zustand des Badezimmers, hier vornehmlich die Badewanne mit der Dusche. Hier hatte man nicht den Eindruck von Komfort und hygienischer Sauberkeit. Das Zimmer war in einem sauberen Zustand. Vorteil des Hotels, es ist zentral gelegen. Insgesamt ist das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis für das gebotene Zimmer nicht o. k.

Struttura nuova, centralissima, personale cortese, ottime e abbondanti colazioni, eccellente rapporto prezzo/qualità.

Das Zimmer war klein, aber fein, das Frühstück hat geschmeckt und das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vom Hauptbahnhof aus, der wirklich direkt neben dem hotel liegt, war alles sehr gut und schnell zu erreichen.

Buona la posizione a ridosso della stazione centrale, ottima la colazione a buffet inclusa nel prezzo, molto utile il bliglietto per usufruire gratuitamente del trasporto pubblico durante il soggiorno. Le camere sono tranquille e sufficientemente riscaldate, tuttavia non si possono definire eleganti nè particolarmente moderne. Giudizio globale comunque positivo.

Freundlicher Empfang. Ruhige Zimmer. Wünsche wurden prompt ausgeführt. Im Frühstücksraum war ein leicht unangenehmer Geruch nach Chemie. Reichliches, umfangreiches Frühstück.

Wenn man einen Kurztrip in München bucht, ist dieses Hotel perfekt. Direkte S- und U-Bahnverbindungen, Sehenswürdigkeiten inkl. Wies'n in unmittelbarer Nähe. Im Hotel sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind trotz Lage erstaunlich ruhig.
