The hotel has a great location but they need to present the services available better; they need to tell you about the swimming pool, the beach, the restaurants the bars in the hotel not just let you discover them on your own, and they charge you for the beach and the pool...it is not free...

great location, nice hotel, room was fine and clean. no problems. good service.

First the positive, location is very good. Everything else, from the condition of the rooms (very old, outlets not working, shower broken, AC system not working, concierge and reception staff not at all responsive) was very poor. Le Meridien is generally a nice hotel, however, this particular one in Nice is very old and really is on par with a standard 2 star hotel. The photos of the new rooms and areas they publish are a small section of the hotel that has been refurbished. Majority of the hotel is in very bad physical condition.

Booked a classic room here for 3 nights. When i say the room as horrible I'm beign kind, VERY old tattered, smelly, not cleaned properly after previous guest. Really such shockingly bad. We asked for a different room for the reasons above and were told all the room are like that, they are the Classic rooms and are all the same ???!!!!! Book somewhere else, this place is far too dear for less than a 2 star standard hotel

The common areas were ok in terms of cleanliness. The service in the bar & lounge was distinctly indifferent and slow. The decor on the room floors is gaudy and the condition and state of the 'inside' rooms is certainly not the usual Meridian quality. I u/stand that the inside rooms are due for refurbishment early next year and the sea view rooms have already been refurbished

We splurged for rooms with a view of the Mediterranean and were not disappointed. When seated you could see nothing but the sea! The room was recently updated and had everything we needed - very nice bed, good pillows, table for breakfast, etc. It was, however a typical European size. The only negative was the size of the balcony which was smaller than expected for the price - for standing only. We had too much luggage (4 adults plus baby!) and were very pleased with the help and promptness of the bellmen. Easy walking distance to the old part of NIce and to the nicer shopping.

The room was very small, a bit dingy and the bathroom smelled mildewy. The service was fine and the location was very central, both in Nice and for accessing the Cote d'Azur from St. Tropez to Menton.

The hotel is lovely, very modern and clean, I did have an issue paying ten euro for a lounger on the roof of the hotel I was staying in. the pool menu was expensive and not very inspiring, drinks were also costly, a bottle of coke was 6.50 euro. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The private beach restaurnat was good but two loungers with a parasol cost 37 euro, do go but bring loads of money!

The staff was not friendly or very helpful. The staff as you arrived outside of the hotel were ok. Most of the staff at the reception desk were rude. The carpets in the rooms were stained. The hallways were depressing.

The staff at this hotel was rude and unfriendly. The hotel was nice enough, but there are plenty of other equally nice hotels in the area where I can assume the staff would be more friendly. Each time I asked a person at the reception desk for any kind of help, he or she would act very annoyed and speak to me as if I was 5 years old. Maybe they weren't fond of Americans, but I would still expect to be treated with a basic level of respect and kindness being a guest at the hotel. My stay at this hotel was the low-point of my entire trip through Europe.

The hotel has a perfect location right on the Promenade. It's quite an ugly entrance. But overall the hotel is OK. But they charge you for everything! Even on a day with no sun, at gone 4pm in the afternoon we were charged a full day for sitting on the sun beds for 5 minutes!!! Literally! I think it's quite outrageous.

Great location and nice hotel. Worst hing was when we checked out we needed to change out of beach clothes in the mens toilets and the manger sent 3 people in to chuck us out...it was very rude and we flet like criminals...poor service great hotel

Great location on the promenade, short walk to the old town with good restaurents and markets. Were suprized to find we had to pay to sit on sun loungers at roof top pool - as well as on the 'private beach'.

Good for business and tour groups, but not romantic. Right across the Promenade des anglais, but should get sea view room.

Rommet var OK, men det skulle lite til for at det var helt på topp. F. eks. ville en rensing av heldekkende teppe på gulvet gjort mye; nå virket det litt "skittent". Men for all del: hotellet er svært sentralt og har svømmebasseng - uten at vi måtte betale for leie av liggestoler. Sengene var meget gode og lydisolasjonen og air-condition helt utmerket.

topp hotell med sentral beliggenhet. kort avstand til gamlebyen,shopping og midt i hjerte av nice.

Vi fikk et rom som ikke har vært pusset opp på mange år og med utsikt mot en innestengt bakgård, og var ikke i nærheten av hva bildene tilsa. Rommet luktet i tillegg fukt/mugg. Selv om vi bå om dobbeltseng, fikk vi to nkeltsenger satt mot hverandre. Det eneste som var tilfredstillende, var beliggenheten. Den er perfekt!

Le meridien hade mycket bra service och läget är utmärkt alldeles vid stranden samt nära till restauranger och shopping. De allmänna utrymmena är mycket fräscha, men det rum vi fick hade trist 70-tals inredning i mörkbrunt så det ger lite minus. Annars var dock rummet funktionellt med bred skön säng mm. Plus för att prakeringshus finns intill så det är enkelt om man kommer med bil.

Toppen fint hotell med en övervåning av dess like. Jätte bra service och god mat. Ligger helt perfekt för dig som både vill vara på stranden samt inne i city. Kan starkt rekomondera detta hotell.

Du möts av regnbågar och en doft av stark parfym. Bra balkonger och myssigt dock. Se bara till att få ett fönster mot havet. Det du betalar för är helt klart läget. Du kan inte bo mer centralt i nice. Har du som syfte att bara sova där är det mer än ok. Är du en som sitter på hotellet och ser på TV, hmm då är det inte för dig...

Fantastisk hotel, de fleste point bliver scoret pga udsigt og deres altaner.

Super beliggenhed, sublim service, dejlige mennesker, herlig tagetage med pool og restaurant

Mitt rom virket litt slutent, med maling med riper, litt skjheve skuffer. Men flott beliggenhet på Promenaden, og i kort gåavstand til gamle Nice.

Dyrt og dårlig. Alt koster ekstra på hotellet, fra solsenger på taket til internett som ikke fungerte. Elendig kvalitet på rommet

Hotellet ligger helt perfekt vid stranden o nära gamla stan för middagar. Hotellet snyggt o modernt, dock fick vi ett icke nyrenoverat rum vilket drog ner betyget. Det var inte prisvärt! För detta pris borde balkong med havsutsikt samt nyrenoverat rum ingå. Dessutom tog de ut avgift för att sola vid poolen samt använda gymmet, borde ingå medtanke på priset.
